Ricardo Quintero

Co-founder and President of Capitânia S/A. Served as Director at Bank of America in Brazil from 1999 to 2003, overseeing treasury and capital markets activities. Prior to that, he was Vice President at ING Bank in Brazil from 1996 to 1998. Quintero also worked at Banco Pactual as an equities and derivatives trader during 1994 and 1995. He began his career in 1987 as a trainee with experience in various departments at Citibank and Lloyds in Brazil.

Holds an MBA from UCLA, completed in 1994, and a degree in Metallurgical Engineering from the Polytechnic School at the University of São Paulo.

Arturo Profili

Co-founder of Capitânia S/A, with primary responsibility for the development and management of investment funds focused on fixed income, private credit, and real estate assets. Worked at Bank of America (1999–2003) and ING Barings Bank (1996–1999), where he was involved in setting up the treasury product structuring and capital markets sales divisions at both institutions, always focused on serving large corporations and institutional investors, both local and international. He has served on various committees and subcommittees at ANBIMA and ANDIMA. Holds a degree in Business Administration from Fundação Getulio Vargas and a specialization in Finance from NY University.

Caio Conca

Has been working at Capitânia since February 2010, always within the Fixed Income – Private Credit area. Currently serves as a partner responsible for the Real Estate segment. Holds a degree in Economics from Insper.

Camila Souza

Has been working at Capitânia since 2010. Joined the Fixed Income – Private Credit team in 2013 and currently serves as an investment analyst. Holds a degree in Applied and Computational Mathematics from the Institute of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of São Paulo and is a CFA Level II candidate.

Christopher Smith, CFA

Was part of Capitânia's Multimarket team from May 2012 to January 2015 and is currently a portfolio manager on the Fixed Income – Private Credit team. Holds a degree in Physics from the University of São Paulo.

Leonardo Piloto

Joined the Fixed Income – Private Credit team in September 2019 as an analyst. Previously served as Chief Financial Officer at PDG Realty and worked as an analyst at Gafisa and Brazilian Mortgages. Holds a degree in Business Administration from FECAP and a postgraduate degree in Finance from FIA.

Andréia Golbspan

Joined the Fixed Income – Private Credit team in December 2019. Previously worked at ANBIMA as an Analyst and at the Trading Desk of Mongeral Aegon Investimentos. Holds a degree in Economics from IBMEC.

Pedro Lobo, CFA

Joined Capitânia in December 2019 and works as an analyst on the Real Estate team. Previously worked at Journey Capital. Holds a degree in Business Administration from FGV-EAESP.

Carlos Simonetti

Has been working at Capitânia since 2012. He is a partner and director of investor relations and products, and a voting member of the real estate committee. Holds a degree in Business Administration from FEA-USP, with a specialization in Finance from IBMEC. Previously worked at institutions such as Royal Bank of Scotland, Deutsche Bank, Bradesco BBI, ING Bank, BCP Securities, and Banco Real, always in commercial or product-related roles.

Flávia Krauspenhar

She is a co-founder and Director of Capitânia. Began her career in the financial market in 1998 at Cotia Trading, and later worked in trading and sales of treasury products at JP Morgan and Bank of America. Holds a degree in Business Administration and a postgraduate degree in Finance, both from FGV-SP.

Camila Lupino

Joined the Investor Relations team in October 2014 and works as a commercial analyst. Previously worked in the Products and Middle Office division at BESAF – BES Ativos Financeiros (now Haitong DTVM), and in the Client Service team at Duna Asset. Holds a degree in Social Sciences from UFSCar.

Has been working at Capitânia since November 2016. Joined the Fixed Income – Private Credit team in January 2021. Holds a teaching degree in Mathematics from the State University of Central-Western Paraná and a degree in Applied and Computational Mathematics – with a focus in Economic Statistics – from the Institute of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of São Paulo. Holds the ANBIMA Manager Certification (CGA).

Adriano Ribeiro

Works at Capitânia since June 2021. Serves as a private and real estate credit analyst. Previously worked at BRZ Investimentos. Holds a degree in Business Administration from FGV.

Alexandre Alfer

Graduated in Business Administration, began his career in the valuation department at the consultancy Hotel Invest. Later worked for about two years at RB Capital and had a stint in the distribution department at XP Investimentos before joining the real estate team at Capitânia.

Vitor Pacheco

Joined Capitânia in September 2021 and works as an analyst on the Real Estate team. Previously worked in the Finance Vice Presidency at Banco Santander. Holds a degree in Accounting from FEA-USP.

Carlos Fernandes

Joined Capitânia in August 2006. Currently a partner, he spent 15 years coordinating risk management projects and outsourcing of Middle & Back Office operations. He is now part of the private credit management team, with a focus on the agribusiness sector and FIDC operations. Holds a degree in Mechatronics Engineering from the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo and an MBA in Finance from FGV. He holds the ANBIMA Manager Certification (CGA) and is a CFA Level II candidate.

Joined the Investor Relations team in October 2022 and works as a commercial analyst. Previously worked on the Fixed Income and Derivatives desk at Private Banking and as a commercial analyst at Itaú Corretora – Itaú BBA. Holds a degree in Business Administration from FGV.

Joined Capitânia in June 2023 and works as an analyst on the Fixed Income – Private Credit team. Previously worked in Venture Capital investment analysis at Webrock Ventures and in Investor Relations at Wright Capital Management. Holds a degree in Business Administration from FGV.

Gabriel Martins

Joined Capitânia in August 2023 as part of the Real Estate team. Has been active in the Real Estate market since 2008, with previous experience at asset managers such as RBR Asset and TRX Investimentos. Holds a degree in Business Administration from ESPM.

Felipe Cateb

Joined Capitânia in January 2024 and works as an intern on the Real Estate team. Also serves as a Reserve Officer (R/2) in the Brazilian Army. Previously worked as an Advisor at Nortus Investimentos, an XP-affiliated office. Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration at IBMEC-SP.

Samuel Stanizi

Joined Capitânia in March 2024 and works as an intern on the Private Credit team. Previously held positions on the derivatives desk at Renascença and in the Treasury department at Deutsche Bank. Currently pursuing a degree in Economics at FECAP.

Felipe Franco

Has been working at Capitânia since April 2024. Served as Managing Director of H.I.G. Capital in Brazil from 2017 to 2023, leading the Value Creation team. During that time, he was also Chairman or Board Member of several companies, including Cel.Lep, Bigsal, Mr. Cat, Elekeiroz, LG Lugar de Gente, Selfit Academias, Desktop (DESK3), NZN, Kora Saúde (KRSA3), Nadir Figueiredo, Eletromídia (ELMD3), and FVO Alimentos. Prior to H.I.G. Capital, he was President of Cel-lep Idiomas from 2013 to 2017 and Vice President at Anheuser Busch InBev for Eastern Europe from 2007 to 2011, overseeing Operations and IT. He also worked at Stern Stewart & Co. from 2000 to 2005 and at Unibanco as an Investment Analyst from 1996 to 1999, where he began his career. Holds a degree in Business Administration from Fundação Getulio Vargas and an MBA from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.

Fernando Ferreira

Works at Capitânia on the Real Estate team. Co-founder of Hillback Capital. Served as CEO of WTorre Engenharia from 2014 to 2017, where he led the construction of logistics real estate projects, shopping malls, corporate offices, as well as stadiums and theaters. Prior to that, he was Vice President at Walmart Brazil, responsible for expansion, engineering, construction, maintenance, and M&A, leading the opening of over 100 stores between 2009 and 2010. At Método Engenharia, he worked for nine years as Director of Engineering, Procurement, and Commercial, and also served as CEO of a leading installations company in the United Arab Emirates from 2004 to 2007. Holds a Master’s degree in Project Management from the Aeronautics Institute of Technology (ITA) and a postgraduate degree in Innovation from MIT. Graduated in Production Engineering from the Federal University of São Carlos.

José Dimas de Oliveira Araujo

Works at Capitânia on the Real Estate team. Previously served as Operations Director at Hillback Capital. Has a long-standing career in the construction sector in São Paulo, which began in 1990, having held leadership positions at major companies in the field, such as HOCHTIEF do Brasil (1989–2002), Racional Engenharia (2008–2014), and Método Engenharia (2014–2017). Throughout his career, he has led significant projects across various types of developments, including office buildings, shopping centers, hospitals, and industrial facilities. Holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the School of Engineering of Volta Redonda and an MBA from FGV.

Luis Felipe Medeiros

Joined Capitânia’s Investor Relations team as an intern in October 2024. Studied at Università Luigi Bocconi and is currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration at INSPER.

Ana Luisa Menezes

Joined Capitânia in October 2024 as part of the Risk and Compliance team. Previously worked in the Fixed Income division at BTG Pactual and also held positions in the Compliance and Internal Audit departments at BNP Paribas. Holds a degree in Business Administration from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP).

Rodrigo Zuniga

Co-founder of Capitânia, currently serves as the firm’s controller. Specializes in treasury products for corporate clients. As head of derivatives execution, has traded over 30 billion dollars in notional value. Previously managed the fixed income sector and structured operations involving agricultural products. Before founding Capitânia, worked as a fixed income trader at Bank of America and Banco Santander. Holds a degree in Economics from PUC-SP and the ANBIMA Manager Certification (CGA).

Thiago Marcadella

Joined Capitânia in September 2024 as part of the Real Estate team. Graduated in Civil Engineering from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), and worked in the Engineering department at the construction and development company Melnick Even (RS). Also worked in the Financial Structuring and Investment division at WTORRE S.A., mainly focused on structuring real estate projects. Holds a postgraduate degree in Real Estate Management from Université Paris Nanterre.
